Waiting for Windy Days

One of my favorite things about cooler weather is my love of outerwear. I love it when a great jacket completes a look! Now, wouldn't these lovelies just look wonderful together?

This can be dressed up, dressed down, accessorized like a madman. Brightly colored tights, perhaps? Turquoise jewelry? I love the possibilities!

Soon The Leaves Will Turn

Fall is coming! I can feel it creeping up with wind and rain and beautiful colors. Fall is my favorite time to dress. Given a better budget these are some items I would love to have this upcoming fall:

I love the warm, still summer feel of the blush colored top paired with the warm, professional but homey look of the cardigan. Of course, you'll learn soon, I'm a cardigan fiend. I love cardigans. I honestly feel they're fit for every occasion.

Then there's this lovely gem found at Ruche. This skirt is adorable! And perfect for fall besides. Excellent length, warm fall color, and beautiful details with the bow around the waist. This could easily become a wardrobe stable for the cooler months.

And for a great pop of color, let's pair them with these lovely beauties below!

Oh, funding. I wish I had some. My handle is going to have to remain thrift stores for now. But very soon I'll show you some of my excellent local finds!

Disney May Have Said It Best

I am a strange creature. I am both spontaneous and cautious, both creative and unsure. I am a different person at night than I am when the rest of the world is awake.

Dualities are beautiful though, aren't they? They're interesting, contrasting, dramatic. Which all makes them very fun.

The point and purpose of this place is all sorts of things. Art, photography, fashion, poetry, writing, DIY projects, and probably quite a few pictures of kittens. That's because I consist of all of these things. I'm everything and nothing in the world, and I want to share this madness with someone else. Because even more beautiful than duality in this world is community, places where people come together and feel something similar.

I've never met you, but I'm very glad you're here.

And in the words of Walt Disney, "Welcome to this happy place. Welcome."
